Education: Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras (Law Degree, 1993 and Barrister, 2002); INCAE/Georgetown University Law Center (Executive Program on the Legal Issues of International Business, 2003); Civil Procedures Program (Madrid, 2004); Harvard Law School (Program of Instruction for Lawyers, 2004). Languages: Spanish, English and Italian (basic knowledge of French). Practice Areas: Lawyer Dumas served for two years as Consular Agent for the Republic of Honduras in Miami, Florida. His practice includes Corporate and Banking, Labor, Energy Project Development, Civil claims and litigation, Government Affairs and Contracts, Real Estate and Registry, Immigration, Communications, Transportation, Administrative and Investment Law. Lawyer Dumas is also closely involved with media and press organizations. Currently he serves as Regional Vice Chairman of the Committee on Freedom of Press and Expression of the Inter American Press Association (IAPA), columnist of Diario La Tribuna and member of the Editorial Board of Vida y Exito magazine. He has also served as Attorney for the Municipality of Villanueva and legal advisor to the Municipality of San Pedro Sula (pro bono), and currently is advisor to the Cortés Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIC).
